African-American Writers’ Alliance (AAWA) Presents An Evening of Poetry & Prose
Original works by AAWA Writers (April is Poetry Month)
African-American Writers’ Alliance (AAWA) Presents An Evening of Poetry & Prose. Join us for original works by AAWA writers. The Seattle-based African-American Writers' Alliance (AAWA) is a diverse and dynamic collective of writers of African descent. Our stories—triumphs, tragedies, and whatever is within and between the two—are the history of African-Americans. We must tell our stories in our words and encourage others to do the same. This evening includes original works by AAWA writers Margaret S. Barrie, Melany Bell, Noni Ervin, Miz Floes, Monique Franklin, James Macon, Georgia S. McDade, Joseph Gaylloyd Sissón, Santiago Vega, and Jaye Ware.
