About the event
Join us as the African American Writers Association (AAWA) will share poetry inspired by the art in our exhibit, and our newest board member, Tsewone, is the lead person for the Ethiopian coffee ceremony. Hear from artists in the, Celebrating Success” annual women’s exhibit and their journey through their art.
AAWA Members are asked to write a poem inspired by the paintings and other works in the exhibit, and then share. For those interested in reading at the event, please email:
